Faith Without Works is Dead James 2:26

Our Origin

This ministry began as a vision rooted in love, healing, and justice. Having seen the power of transformation firsthand, we understand that even behind prison walls, people can find peace, purpose, and personal growth through faith.

Our Process

We serve through spiritual mentorship, personal letters, prayer sessions, fasting, scripture-based teaching, and advocacy for prison reform. Every effort is focused on helping individuals reconnect with their true selves, their communities, and their Creator.

Our Inspiration

We are inspired by every life that dares to believe again, every heart that opens in faith, and every soul that chooses freedom over fear—even in confinement.

“The only prison we can be is the prison of our mind.”
— Lalilah Gifty Akita

Who we are

Faith for Freedom Prison Ministry was founded by Rondona Rochelle Hines, a certified prison ministry volunteer with a deep calling to uplift and inspire incarcerated individuals in the state of Texas. This ministry is built on the belief that freedom is not just a physical condition—it’s a mindset, a spiritual awakening, and a reclaiming of one’s worth.
